summer

so just a fun photo that is so our family, so summer and hot weather and soooo where our family spends many of afternoons. its been that way for me for as long as i can remember. 7-eleven and me go way back. and of course my children had to be introduced at an early age!

rebecca took these images the night after our family photo session. god bless her. i think they are some of my favorites. they are so us!

so sorry about the lack of blog updates lately, we, rebecca and i, are working our little fingers off on the computers editing and getting a few sessions done and delivered this week. and then its full on summer wedding season. that and tim is off on a one week bike race right now. he is doing the BC BIKE race. its a bit crazy but so far after day 4 he is doing pretty good. he is only missing the kids a tiny bit. yes thats a lie, i think he is really hurting being away from them this long. as for me, being a single parent is hard... hats off to all of those people out there doing it every day. i am a very very lucky women to have a husband who contributes as much as mine.

xoxo happy canada day and wow, happy hot weather, get out there and grab a slurpee and licorice!

OK, seriously, I actually made a panic-motivated "Christmas Stocking" entirely out of 7-11 goodies... on Christmas morning... for a close friend...Yeah....

Great pictures.

adam, jodi made that joke because our family limited ourselves one year to presents only from 7-eleven and we were only allowed to purchase them after midnight on christmas eve. so i think our stories are the same ;) it was one of the funniest christmas mornings EVER! i still cherish my black fine tooth comb and my can of brown baked beans.

Who got the troll?

No, Chelle, the story is that we called Mom out for not having anything for our stockings, so when we were at 7-11 at midnight on Christmas Eve, she went to the till and wouldn't let us look, and that's when she bought you the comb, and me the troll, and a can of beans for god-knows-whom... That was fun. Gotta love the "Sev"!

This is so awesome. I love your hair Michelle and YES, 7-Eleven and you go way back. Remember our spare in the 12th grade? You always had to make a 7-Eleven run!!! Too fun. Great photos. Love your hair and dress...I said that already.

Cheers,
Lesley

lesley, i remember somehow.. highschool and lemon gin in my slurpee. yes we go way back. i used to dream of one day getting married and having a REAL 7-eleven slurpee machine in my house. i don't mean just think about it, i mean actually dream of it. now i just pretend my blender is the slurpee machine, and i have to admit it comes close. it took me 6 years of marriage to get the PERFECT blender. i seriously fell in love with my husband all over again when he bought me this one. it makes slurpees. not crushed ice, but perfectly blended slurpee's!
